Miss Beulah Barrett of Third Street Brackenridge and one of the most popular members of local society of a few years ago died at 6 o'clock this morning at her home after a lingering illness of several years duration. Miss Barrett made her home with her mother, who was for many years a resident of Natrona and later of Brackenridge. Miss Barrett's health began to fail about four years ago and since that time has continued to grow worse. About a year ago the doctors advised a milder climate and the entire family disposed of their belongings and moved to California. For a while the invalid's health began to improve but soon began to fail again. As the end grew near, she wished to return to her old home and as a result her mother moved back to Brackenridge and purchased a home near her former one on Third Street. Besides her mother the deceased is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lou McKinley of Kansas City, MO, the Misses Lilian and Betty of Chicago, IL and four brothers Orr and David of Freeport and Lawrence and Robert. She was preceded in death by her father John F. Barrett of Brackenridge. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
