Saint Elmo Alexander, 66, Bedford, was accidentally killed yesterday morning when a shotgun fell from a gunrack, shooting him in the abdomen.
The retired farmer's death was ruled accidental by Trimble County coroner Vincent Oakley.
Alexander, a lifetime resident of Bedford, is survived by six brothers: Ernest, Nervil, and Leslie, Bedford; Herbert, Carrollton; Hurley, Corn Creek; and Hubert, of Florida; and two sisters: Mrs. Naomi Mershall and Mrs. Pearl Newby, Bedford.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bedford Methodist Church. Burial will be at Bedford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Randsdell Funeral Home in Bedford.
