GLEN ROCK - Ethel B. Anderson, 84, of Glen Rock, died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jonas Anderson Jr.
The service will be 7 p.m. Friday at the Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. A private burial will be held in Rohlers Mountainview Cemetery in Dover, at the convenience of the family. Viewing will be 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson was born Oct. 21, 1913, in Conewago Township. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Dorothy (Shaffner) Beck.
She worked at local cigar and wreath factories.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by five sons, Dale Anderson and Gene Anderson, both of York Haven, Glenn Anderson and Donald Anderson, both of Dover, and Larry Anderson of York; four daughters, Linda Bixler and Patricia Stoner, both of Dover, and Nancy Provost and Marie Hake, both of York; 38 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Lottie Kimmel and Nellie Kunkel, both of York, and Charlotte Crone, Helen Fetrow and Annie Anderson, all of Dover.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dan Dellosso, pastor of Calvary Bible Church.
