Clem Hayden Dead.
Word came to Pryor yesterday that Clem Hayden of Choteau had died the night before at his home in that city of apoplexy.
Mr. Hayden was one of the most widely known and influential citizens of Mayes county, and his sudden taking away will be universally mourned. The morning of the day he died, he was in Pryor on business and seemed as well as usual. The news of his death came as a severe shock to his friends in this city.
Mr. Hayden was president of the Mayes County Free Fair, president of the Choteau Trust and Banking Co, vice-president of the Citizens Bank & Trust Co, of Pryor and vice president of the Farmer's State Bank of Vinita. He was also interested in many other business enterprises.
The funeral will be held at the home in Choteau Friday and interment will be in the Bryant's Chapel cemetery.
