Joanne Cheyney "Nana" Brown, age 67, of 1214 Inwood View Drive, Sophia died Saturday, January 1, 2005 at her home.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Republic, Washington; a homemaker; and a member of South Plainfield Friends Meeting. She was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnna Marie Cromer.
She is survived by her husband Luther Brown; one son: Gene Brown of Seagrove, NC four grandaughters: Melissa Dean and Sherry Stephens both of Sophia, NC and Jennifer and Ashley Brown both of Seagrove, NC; 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 3, 2005 from 12:30-2:00 PM at South Plainfield Friends Meeting, 4033 Plainfield Road, Sophia, NC. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM at the church following the visitation with Hugh C. Spaulding officiating.
Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
