Mrs. Rose Stephenson, 94, of Henrico, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

She worked many years at Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company and retired from Richmond Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stephenson influenced many people to walk humbly with God, always putting others first, and was loved by all who knew her; She is home at last.

Mrs. Stephenson is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Lincoln Stephenson; daughter, Cindy Farris (Jim); granddaughter, Beth Farris; great-grandson, Jason Cooper; great-granddaughter, Alaina Cooper; three brothers-in-law, Jeff, Joseph (Marie) and J.A. (Linda) Stephenson; three sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Beverley, Janie Johnson and Sara Hobbs (Larry); and many nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers, neighbors and church members.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Medi Hospice, 8100 Three Chopt Rd. #226, Richmond, Va. 23229, or Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
