Ollie D. Anderson, 94, of Florence, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007.

Visitation is set for Friday afternoon, Nov. 30, from 1-2:45 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home in Florence. After the visitation, the funeral will be at 3 p.m. in the chapel and will be conducted by family members, with the assistance of Brother Jack Wilhelm.

He was a native of Dallas, Texas, but has lived for the last 26 years in the Shoals. He was a retired employee of Otis Elevators.

He was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ in Rogersville.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Martha Anderson, his parents and three brothers.

He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Baker and husband, Randy, of Rogersville; and by his son, Rollie Anderson and wife, Deborah, of Dallas, Texas. In addition, he is survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Collum, Tim Morrow, Tim Grigsby, Oneal McLemore, Richard McLemore and Lendale Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Lewis, Junior Stutts and Guy Collier.

The family is deeply grateful to the administration and staff at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for the compassionate care they have provided over the last three-plus years.
