Roscoe Bonnell, son of George W. Bonnell, and Edgar Tannehill, both of west of Bethel, arrived home from Denver, Colo., this week where they received their discharges from the Navy. Both enlisted in the service at Omaha in May, 1917.

OBIT. - Funeral services for Charles Roscoe, Bonnell, 81, at Lewistown, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina with the Rev. Donald L. Foley officiating. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery near Bethel.
Mr. Bonnell died Wednesday evening at his home at Lewistown where he had lived for about six years.
He was born August 30, 1888 in Shelby County, Mo., near Epworth; a son George W. and Emma Harriett Latimer Bonnell. On Nov. 11, 1933, he was married to Mildred Jones. They spent their married life east of Bethel before moving to Lewistown.
Survivors include, in addition to his wife, three sons, Paul and George of the family home and Charles L. of Lewistown; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Smith of Lewistown and Mrs. James Turner of Ewing; five grandchildren; three brothers, Claude and Guy of Bethel and John of Kansas City; one sister, Mrs. John Allen of Bethel; and other relatives.
