Charles H. Berry

After a long illness, Charles H. Berry, aged 71, of 230 Euclid Avenue, died at his home Friday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock.

Mr. Berry, born in Parker's Landing on May 2, 1871, was a son of John and Jane Ward Berry. He had been a contract lather for a number of years and was an active member of the I. O. O. F. lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Emma Allshouse Berry; the following children: Mrs. May Lucky and Paul E. Berry, of New Castle; Charles A. Berry, of Greenville; Mrs. Edith Katterson of Ambridge; Mrs. Gladys Miller, of New Castle; five grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Fred of Hyde Park, Pa., Dean F., of Orland, Fla., and Mrs. Blanche Hudson, of Pittsburgh. A daughter, Mrs. Cora Uder, preceded him in death five weeks ago.

The body is at the Joseph B. Layde mortuary, Highland at Winter, where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, with Rev. Adam E. Simon, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, in charge. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary this evening from seven to nine and Sunday afternoon and evening from two to four and seven to nine o'clock.
