Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken County, Ky., 12 Apr 2008 - BARDWELL, Ky. - James Marshall Todd, 89, of Bardwell died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Western Baptist Church in Paducah. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he retired from Laborers' International Union of North America Local No 1214 where he had worked for over 30 years. Mr. Todd was a farmer in Carlisle County for many years and a member of the Mississippi Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine Case Todd; one son, Nelson and wife Diane; two grandchildren, Jami and husband Ricky and Eric and wife Katina; two great-grandchilden, Abagail and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene; one infant brother, Ralph; three half sisters; and three half brothers. His parents were Samuel and Alma Jennings Todd.
