Mrs. Flynn had lived in Lafayette most of her life in Lafayette. She lived in California and later in Arizona from 1971-1991, when she returned to Lafayette. She had been a waitress for Arni's in Market Square. She and her husband had owned and operated motels while living in California. She was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the 40&8 Auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters, Debbie Wilhelm (husband Jack), Diane Nichols (husband Dennis) and Darla Anderson (husband Gary); two brothers, Bill Woodruff and Tom Woodruff, all of Lafayette; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers.
