Jack G. Marsh, 78, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 in Murray, Utah.
He was born Nov. 27, 1934 in Salt Lake City to Grant Peck Marsh and Rea Ramona Jacobs. He married Emma Louise Nielson on Apr. 8, 1955 (divorced) and later married Sharon Lee Vander Waag on June 7, 1974, later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple on Oct. 10, 1987. Jack loved to read. He loved old cars and especially loved restoring his 1958 Pontiac Bonneville. Jack loved working in his yard and had a beautiful rose garden. He loved his Dalmatians and treated them like children. Most of all, he loved his sweetheart, Sharon, and his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lee Marsh; children, Craig (Paula) Marsh, Randy Marsh, Becky (Steve) Lloyd; stepdaughter, Carrie Bartholomew; siblings Jerry (Cheren) Marsh, Darlene Marsh; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 S. Highland Dr.). There will be a viewing Friday night from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary as well as one hour prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
