MRS. TERISSE PETTAY DIES
AT HER HOME HERE AT
10 A.M. SATURDAY.
Pneumonia proved fatal to Mrs. Terisse Pettay, 75, who died at her home, 706 East Markland avenue Saturday at 10 a.m. Mrs. Pettay contracted the flue [sic] about a month ago and was sick about three weeks. Leaving the house before she had contracted pneuumonia a week ago, which resulted in her death Saturday morning.
She is survived by two sons, Everett, of Kokomo, and William of Jerome, one daughter, Mrs. Lilly [should be Lillie] Templeton [should be Templin], also of Kokomo, and a brother, Lanford Achor, of Newcastle [should be New Castle].
Mrs. Pettay was a member of the Holiness church in New London.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m., at the Pilgrim Holiness church in South Purdum street, and burial will follow at Marion. The body has been removed to the Ellers mortuary and will be taken home Saturday evening. Friends may call after 7 p.m.
