Mrs. Sarah Anna Ferguson died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at the family residence two miles east of Kirklin.
Suffering from apoplexy, she had been ill several weeks.
She was born in Boone County August 6, 1874, the daughter of William and Sarah Bennington Wallace. She was married to George Ferguson on April 20, 1897, with his death occurring on January 31, 1932.
Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the Christian Chapel Church at Kirklin.
Surviving are a son, Lester Ferguson of Lebanon; three daughters, Mrs. Cleo Mullikin and Mrs. Dorothy Pitzer of Kirklin and Mrs. Blanche Hollingsworth of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Edith King of Sheridan; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Chapel Church, with Rev. Ralph Watson officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, near Kirklin.
Friends may call at the family residence any time prior to the services.
