HOOKSETT -- Albert A. Mons, 88, of Hooksett, died Dec. 15, 2005, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
Mr. Mons was born Oct. 27, 1917, in Manchester, a son of August and Hubertine (DeNutte) Mons, and was a longtime resident of Hooksett.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Mons was employed with General Electric Company and in earlier years with Manchester Dairy.
Mr. Mons was a longtime member of The League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Family includes a son, James A. Mons of Londonderry; two daughters, Joyce E. Mons of Dunbarton and Kathy M. Tremblay of Litchfield; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Aline M. Buxton of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine Street, corner of Harrison Street in Manchester. Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
