Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Saturday, February 19, 1977:
  Mrs. Emma St. Peters, 88, of Alton, died at 10:43 p.m. Friday in the Elder Care Nursing Home at Alton.
  She was born March 23, 1888, near Ironton, Mo.  Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas True.
  She was married to the late John St. Peters Sept. 3, 1907, who preceded her in death Jan. 28, 1952.
  Mrs. St. Peters is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Wiegand of Edwardsville, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
  Also surviving are brothers, George True of Edwardsville, John True of Alton and Richard True of Miami, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Leona Droste of St. Louis, Mo.
  Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday in the Gent Funeral Home at Alton.
  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Edelman, pastor of Elm St. Presbyterian Church, officiating.
  Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park at Godfrey.
