Funeral services were held Tuesday at
Albia for seven persons killed instantly
Friday night in a car accident near El-
burn, Ill.
The dead included Mrs. Dorothy Thomas,
44, of Albia and six members of the Rich-
ard Chidester family, the parents, Rich-
ard, 29, and Evelyn, 25 and four of their
five children, Richard, Jr., 8, Ramona,6
Robin, 3 and Kim, 2.
Survivin is one son Thomas, 11 months
old, whom they had been visiting in an
Aurora, Ill., hospital.
Mrs. Thomas was the mother of Mrs. Chi-
dester and had been visiting the family,
formerly of Albia.
The bodies were returned from Illinois
to the Zimmerman funeral home where they
were prepared for burial.
