E. P. Munger was born in New York
April 14, 1809; was married to Caroline
Andrews in 1831; moved to Wisconin
in 1839; then to Andrews county Mo.,
in 1859 and to Belleville in January
where he lived with his son Frank, till
his death Oct. 19th., 1893, aged 84 years
6 months. Of nine children four sons
are living; four served their country in
the army, one of whom was eilled at
Shilock, Mr. Munger was for many
years a faithful member of the Presbyterian
church and has gone to join his
companion who had passed on before,
to be forever with the Lord. The funeral
services were preached by the Rev
A. M. Steed and his remains were
interred in the Belleville cemetery.
Mr. Munger was highly respected by
all who knew him.
