Funeral services will be held Thursday (May 18, 1989) at a 3 p.m. Mass in St. Peters Catholic Church for Edilia Cormier, 86, the former Edilia Roger, who died Tuesday (May 16, 1989) at 6:10 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Roy Edwards, co-pastor, will officiate.
Survivors include one son, J.B. (Joiscin Belizare) Cormier of Carencro, two daughters, Mrs. Lee "Grace" Seaux of Carencro and Mrs. Clinton "Rita" Credeur of Lafayette; Milton (T. B) Roger; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules Roger and the former Alzima Simoneaux; and her husband Belizere Cormier.
She was a native and resident of Carencro.
Visiting hours will be observed from 8 a.m. today (May 18, 1989) until time of services.
Pallbearers are Clinton Credeur, Lee Seaux, Tony Cormier, Shane Cormier, Troy Seaux and Grant Seaux. Honorary pallbearers are T. B. Roger and Ernest Roger.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro is in charge of arrangements.
