BRUBAKER – Entered into rest in Columbia on November 28, 1965, Mrs. Mabel W. Brubaker, widow of the late Jacob S. Brubaker, of 614 Walnut Street, Columbia, formerly of Mount Joy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Funeral Home of James B. Heilig, 21 West Main Street, Mount Joy, on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Interment in the Henry Eberle Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Heilig Funeral Home on Tuesday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock.

Lancaster New Era, Monday November 29, 1965

Mrs. Jacob Brubaker, Columbia, Succumbs

Mrs. Mabel W. Gerber Brubaker, 80, widow of Jacob S. Brubaker, 614 Walnut St., Columbia, died unexpectedly at home at 9:55 a.m. Sunday. She had been under the care of a physician. Her husband died last September.
Born in East Donegal Township, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Emma Wagner Gerber, and was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Mount Joy; and the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. A former resident of Mount Joy, where she resided for 25 years, Mrs. Brubaker prior to that time lived at Enola.
In addition to her son, Charles A. Brubaker, with whom she resided in Columbia, surviving are a daughter, Ruth, wife of George B. Risser, Elizabethtown; three grandsons, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Bates, Mount Joy.
