Shackleford's, Va., November 9.- Dr. A.C. Grubbs died at his home here this morning at 7 o'clock, after a long illness. The funeral will take place from Old Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services will be in charge of Centreville Lodge A.F. & A.M., of which he had been a member for many years.
Dr. Grubbs leaves a widow and five children- Captain Robert B. Grubbs, assistant surgeon United States Army; Mrs. J.T. Holland, of Pawtucket, R.I.; John A. Grubbs, of Washington, D.C.; Miss Mary Grubbs, of Suffolk, Va. and Oscar Grubbs.
