BAXLEY -- Harry B. Dasher, 69, died Tuesday at Appling Nursing Home after a long illness.
The Liberty County native lived in Baxley 47 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school many years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 195, F&AM and Baxley No. 363 Order of the Eastern Star. He was a retired forest supervisor for Union Camp Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie S. Dasher of Baxley; a son, Harry Joe Dasher of Ketchikan, Alaska; two grandsons, Eric Dasher of Fairbanks, Alaska and Jeff Dasher of Ketchikan; and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Presley of Atlanta.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Swain Funeral Home, burial in Appling Memorial Gardens.
Remembrances: First Baptist Church Building Fund.
