Norris Albert Turner, 92, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lelia H. Turner; grandson, James "Jamie" Hudson, and taught basket weaving for many years at the Salem Senior Citizen Center. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca T. Hudson and her husband, Donald of Troutville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Oakey's East Chapel. Interment will follow in Daleville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
