Obituary, Betty Louise McMichaels
Funeral services were held for Betty Louise McMichaels, 8-months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.L. McMicheal of Lamar, who died Monday morning at the parental home, were held at Cheatums-Kirkpatrick Mortuary chapel Monday afternoon, with the Rev. John R. Creamer in charge. Interment was made in Fairmount cemetery.
Betty Louise McMichael was born near Whitney, Texas, March 27, 1929, at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Young. She and her parents spent the summer with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. McMichaels, at Clovis, New Mexico, and had just recently come to Lamar.
This was her first illness, and it was of short duration, her death coming as a great shock to her parents and near relatives. She leaves to mourn her death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. McMichaels of Lamar, and aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. McMichaels of Lamar, her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Raney; and hergrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Young of Whitney, Texas.
