Janina H. Brewer, 92, 1941 Desire Road, Reynoldsville, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her residence.
Born Dec. 9, 1919, in Elenora, she was a daughter of the late Fred Wisneski and Mary Killian Wisneski.
She was married to Raymond L. Brewer Feb. 29, 1938. He preceded her in death April 23, 1973.
She was a 1938 graduate of Reynoldsville High School. She retired from Lorri Foot Ware, Big Run, after 16 years of service.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Reynoldsville.
She was an avid card player, loved gardening, yard work, walking, painting, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 1 son, Fred (Mary) Brewer, Reynoldsville; 3 daughters: Laudrea (John) Frampton, Reynoldsville, Andrea Peace, Kramer, and Marsha (Marion) Pierce, Reynoldsville; 23 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son, Raymond L. Brewer Jr.; 2 brothers, Raymond and Fred Wisneski; 2 granddaughters, March Ann Shick and Sandy Rae Frampton; and 1 great-grandson, Shawn Allen Stewart.
There will be no public viewing. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville with the Rev. Thomas Carr and the Rev. Leo Cramer officiating. Burial will be in Desire Cemetery, Reynoldsville.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.
