OBITUARY
Barry Edin, age 63 of Birch Bay passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 in Seattle, WA. He was born in Bellingham, WA on October 5, 1945 to George and June (Elstad) Edin. Barry graduated from Bellingham High School in 1963 and married Jackie Corcoran in Bellingham in 1983. He retired from Intalco/Alcoa after working in the carbon plant for 38 years.
Barry loved to hunt and fish, and go clam digging and crabbing. He enjoyed camping, and helped to build the original camp sites at Ross Lake. He loved campfires, the bigger the better! Barry was a very talented woodworker and carver who had a great sense of humor and a very big heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Barry is survived by his wife, Jackie Edin; son, Steve Edin; daughter, Teresa Mallard (Joe); Brothers Rick (Marlene) and Greg (Kerry) Edin; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
