FORT WORTH - Walter Logston, a retired salesman, died today at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 74.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Logston was born in Mena, Ark., and had lived in Fort Worth for 60 years.He was an Army veteran of World War II, a Mason and a past director of Moslah Shrine Temple.

Survivors: Daughter, Dixie Hubbard of Nashville, Tenn.; son, Richard Logston of Fort Worth; brother, R.D. Logston of Tennessee; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
