Chris Bunn, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. She was born on October 30, 1927 in Bangs, Texas to the late Daniel C. and Laura (Laird) Hallmark. She worked as a cashier at the Airhost Restaurant and 20 years in the cafeteria at K-Mart Distribution Center. She was an auxiliary member of both the Disabled American Veterans Elmer Pond Post 1 and American Wheelchair Bowling Association. She will be remembered as an avid bowler, facebook member, IU basketball fan, huge NASCAR fan, and belonging to the Dale Earnhardt fan club. Surviving family include her children, Dennis (Bernice) Bunn of North Charleston, S.C., Larry Bunn, Jeffery Bunn, Linda (Norman) Edwards all of Fort Wayne, Kathy (Ken) Bunn of Ossian; brother, Clifton Hallmark of Texas; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Donald E. Bunn; sons, Donald E. and Randy J. Bunn; and brothers, Lloyd and Lonnie Hallmark. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 1-8 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Huntertown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
