Son of the Fred and Billie (Spencer) Foster. John was the last of his eight brothers and sisters to pass away.
John was involved in several businesses through the years, he was the owner and operator of the Foster Sign Company, and the Foster Mobile Home Park, and operated, with a partner, the excursion boat "The Susan A" for several years.
He was a member of Morning Dawn Lodge #7, the Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite, and was a life member of the Point Pleasant River Museum.
