Eldridge Goven Boughan Jr., age 69, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Boughan.

He is survived by his two sons, Eldridge G. Boughan III "Tripp," Mark Lee Boughan; best friend, David Word; and extended family.

Goven was a master craftsman with expertise in various fields, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler fitting, carpentry, a diagnostic specialist in all plumbing and heating fields and also automotive repair.

He was always honorable and dependable and was always there for anyone in need. He was a caring and great father who loved riding his 1972 Triumph 650 Bonneville motorcycle.

The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 27, at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 28 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church Brookhill, 1214 Wilmer Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
