SOPERTON - Martha Mae Barwick, 70, died Jan. 6 at Bethany Home Nursing Center, Vidalia.
A lifelong resident of Treutlen County, she was the widow of Levi Darden and Willie C. Barwick. She was a retired machine operator with Soperton Manufacturing Company and a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: three sons, James Darden of Woodbridge, Va., Lenton Darden and Charles Darden, both of East Dublin; three daughters, Rosemary Lampp, Lillian Joiner and Martha Kersey, all of Soperton; a sister, Maggie Bond of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, James E. McGahee and Willie D. McGahee, both of Soperton; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Sammons Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Monday at Sammons Funeral Home, burial in Pinecrest Cemetery, Vidalia.
Martha and Willie's marriage was a second marriage for both of them. No children.
