Mrs. Anna Thill, 82, widow of Peter Thill who was treasurer of Calumet County at one time died at her home in the town of Stockbridge today after an illness of two years. She was born at Holy Cross February 10, 1855, the daughter of Dominic and Catherine Watry. She was married at Fond du Lac to Peter Thill, who preceded her in death seven years ago. For four years the couple made their home in the city of Chilton and all the rest of their married life was spent on the homestead where Mrs. Thill passed away.
Fourteen children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Thill, five of whom preceded them in death. Those surviving Mrs. Thill are Joseph, Eugene and Anna at home; Mrs. Ida Lex, Mrs. Joseph Olig, Mrs. ?? Murphy and Henry of the town of Stockbridge, Mrs. John Wagner of the town of Brothertown and ??? of Milwaukee. Miss Anna has cared for her mother during her declining years.
