ROSA S. MORRIZON
ARTESIA--Services for Rosa S. Morrizon, 72, of W. Washington Avenue, will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father Vincent Petersen officiating. Burial will follow at San Marcos Cemetery.
Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Morrizon died Monday, April 20, 1998, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell.
Terpening and Son Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Hondo, N.M., to Jacob and Tomasa Salsberry Salas. She married Willie S. Morrizon on May 25, 1946, in Carlsbad.
Mrs. Morrizon moved to Artesia in May of 1946 from Hondo. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie, on Aug. 26, 1988.
Survivors include daughters, Edna Perez of San Jose, Calif., and Mary Carbajal and Julia Juarez, both of Artesia; son, Willie Morrison of Artesia; brothers, Ruben Salas of Artesia and William Salas of Roswell; sister, Jeannie Duran of Roswell; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at noon today at Terpening and Son Mortuary.
