He was born on June 15, 1927, in Beaverville, IL, the son of T.Y. Arseneau and Theresa (Cote) Arseneau.
Aaron married Eula Willey on October 8, 1993. Mr. Arseneau worked as a Farmer for over 50 years and was a Carpenter owning and operating Arseneau Construction.
He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1953.
Was a member of the American Legion Donovan Post for 65 years, a Lifetime Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverville, and a Beaverville Volunteer Firefighter for over 25 years.
He enjoyed farming, carpentry, playing cards, telling jokes and stories, and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving Mr. Arseneau is his wife, Eula Arseneau of Watseka; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Amy Willey of Brook, IN; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Brian Anthony of Fishers, IN; grandchildren, Brice and Courtney Willey, and Morgan and Christopher Witek; great-grandchild, Clover Witek; nieces and nephew, Michelle McShane, Lori Eggleston, and Mark Arseneau; eight great-nieces and nephews; six great- nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. He is also preceded in death by both parents; one brother, Barth Louis Arseneau; and one sister-in-law, Jeanette (Witsoe) Arseneau.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 10:00, am to 11:00 am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverville, IL.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 11:00 am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverville, IL. Father Dan Belanger will officiate.
Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaverville, IL. Memorials in Mr. Arseneau's name can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Restoration Fund.
