MARRIED AT THE PARSONAGE
Miss Sarah E. Hall Changes Her Name But Not the Letter.
Miss Sarah E. Hall and Mr. James M. Haggard were married yesterday afternoon at the Baptist parsonage, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. John B. Turpin, the pastor of the bridal pair.
The bride is a sister of Mr. J. M. Hall of this city and the groom is a valued employee of the Charlottesville Woolen Mills. They were attended by Mrs. J. M. Hall, Miss Lou McDaniel, and Mr. John Hall, a brother of the bride; and by Messrs. Samuel Clement [Clemons] and J. B. Wood.
This is the third marriage that Dr. Turpin has celebrated in the bride’s family in a few months. Mr. and Mrs. Haggard have gone to the residence of the latter’s father in the neighborhood of Gilbert’s in order to be with other members of the family who are attending the old gentleman, who is very ill.
