HUNTSVILLE -- Mrs. Sarah J. Cox, 92, of Huntsville died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Rehab and Health Care Center in Huntsville.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Jeff Jones Funeral Home in LaFayette with the Rev. Charles Whitson officiating. Burial followed in LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox is survived by two daughters, Ruby Trimble of Huntsville and Mary Hodges of Birmingham; her son, Marvin Cox Jr. of Montgomery; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Born Sept. 23, 1906, in Chambers County, Ala., Mrs. Cox attended Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church in Marcoot. She was a homemaker and a former resident of LaFayette.
