Dennis Dale Cavanaugh age 66, of O'Neill, formerly of Chambers, passed away Tuesday, September 20th at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill.
There will be a Private Family burial in the O'Neill Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.
He is survived by 1 son; Dale Garwood and his wife Diane of Vergas Minnesota, 1 daughter; Sherri Peter and her husband, Linus of O'Neill, 3 grandchildren, 1 brother; Russ Cavanaugh and his wife, Jeanne of Phoenix, Arizona.
Dennis was born January 24, 1945 at O'Neill, Nebraska to Bernard and Pauline (Bastron) Cavanaugh. He grew up in the Chambers area attending school there and graduating from the Chambers Public High School.
He married Karen Guthmiller in Burke, South Dakota. She passed away in February of 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and 1 brother, Jimmy.
