She was born September 15, 1917 in Panguitch, Utah to Albert Franklin and Cora Hatch Craig. She married Spencer Leo Bowles October 15, 1936 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Octobert 15, 1937. He died September 5, 2002.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in the Primary for many years. She worked along with her husband operating the Fros-T-Freez for 20 years. She opened Nebo Craft, where she loved painting and making dolls.
Survived by her children, Barbara Stratton, Donna Kelsey and Bevan Bowles; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Greenhalgh.
Preceded in death by a son, Boyd; sisters, Lola, Opal, Shirlee, Nellie and Dorothy; brothers, Dee, Wayne, Jay and Bert.
