NORTH SMITHFIELD- Thelma Louise (Aldrich) O'Hara, 85, of Woonsocket Hill Rd, North Smithfield, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Peter Leo O'Hara, Jr. who just passed away January 13, they were married for 65 years.
Born in North Smithfield she was the daughter of the late Warren and Marion (McClintock) Aldrich.
She worked as a Nutritional Aide for The State of Rhode Island the for The University of Rhode Island before retiring. She received an Associate's Degree from Hill College.
She is survived by her five children Marla Carchia, of Forestdale, Kathleen Monfette of Burrillville, Karen Nadem-Mollaei of San Antonio, TX, Kurt O'Hara and Timothy O'Hara both of North Smithfield, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded by two sons Keith P. O'Hara and Brian "Mack" O'Hara.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday January 23, 2013 at 1PM from the Holt Funeral Home 510 So. Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery Smithfield Rd. No. Smithfield. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 8PM.
