My paternal Great-Grandmother:
Trijntje was the eldest of the five daughters of Dirk Hendriks Gorter (10 Dec 1836 - 1 Jun 1886) and Saapke Klazes de Jong (28 Feb 1845 - 24 Dec 1910).
She was married 15 May 1890 in Het Bildt at the age of 21. She lost her 3 oldest daughters, Saapke, Tietje & Dirkje, as well as her youngest son, Sjoerd, to Diptheria. She also had a stillborn son. She was a widow at the time of her death at 73.
