Ronald LeKeith Howard, Jr. "Lil Ron" was born on October 16, 1981 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Ronald and Janise Howard. Ronald was the oldest of two children. He became a Christian at an early age and was baptized. He became a member of the Greater Bethleham Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher for many years.
Ronald was a graduate of West Memphis Senior High School, Class of 1999. He attended Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee. The joys of Ronald's life were playing high school and college basketball, cooking and socializing with family and friends. "Lil Ron"'s free spirit bought happiness to all he encoutered.
Ronald stepped into the Spiritual Realm on April 4, 2002. He leaves on this earthly plain to cherish his memories, his father and mother, Ronald and Janise Howard, SR of Edmondson, AR, one brother, DeArrius Howard; his grandmother, Shirley Higgins; one son, RonDarius; two great-grandmothers, Ernestine Holmes and Maggie Higgins; eight aunts, Denise(Luther)Robinson; Fredonia(Willis)Falls; Faye Howard; Donna(Frank)Evans; Patricia(Frank)McGee; Eulah(Tommy)Dean; Sylestine(Gregory)Mack; and Karen Howard; three uncles; Keith(Michelle)Higgins; Alex(Irene)Howard; and Jessie(Diedra)Bradley; five great-aunts, a special great-uncle; Ray Holmes; and four other great uncles.
Lil Ron leaves sixty-two cousins to cherish his memories of which six were like a sister and brothers to him, Candice Robinson, Darius T. Mack, Everette Evans, Richard Cunningham, and Lavester Green; one cousin was like an uncle to him, Frederick(Christine)Falls; he also had one friend that was like a brother to him, Jermaine Brown; a dearest Lady friend, Andrea Gordon. He also leaves to cherish memories a host of other relatives and friends that he loved dearly.
Services were held Tuesday April 9, 2002, 12:00 noon at Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in West Memphis, AR. REST IN PEACE "LIL RON"! YOU ARE TRULY MISSED!
