Dr. Thomas C. Osborn married Miss Harriet McClellan, whose father, Gen. M. W. McClellan, was a distinguished Indian fighter and prominent Alabama planter, whose plantation is still known as Idle Wild. Dr. Thomas Osborn and wife reared seven children.
