Zibiah Cornelius Dalrymple was the seventh known child and third daughter born to William David Dalrymple (1822 – 1903) and Lucy Artimesia David (1838 – 1904).

In the 1880 census Zibiah's parents, 54 year old David and 41 year old Lucy A, were living on a farm, dwelling 72, family 79 in Enumeration District 26 of Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia. David was a farmer assisted by his 13 year old son William M; Lucy and her daughter from a previous marriage, 20 year old Emma Carson, cared for the home and the children. Of the children, 9 year old John F was the only child noted to be At School. While David was born in South Carolina, the rest of the family was born in Georgia. The household consisted of David as Head, his 41 year old wife Lucy A, 13 year old son William M, 11 year old daughter Lula J, 10 year old daughter Lucy L, 9 year old son John F, 4 year old son Thomas A, 2 year daughter Zibia C, 1 year old son Job C, and 20 year old stepdaughter Emma A Carson.

In the 1900 census the family lived on the family farm located in Enumeration District 28 in Carnesville, General Militia District 264, Franklin County, Georgia. They were listed as dwelling 258, family 274 and farm 259 of the Farm Schedule. In 1902 the 25 year old Zibiah Cornelius Dalrymple married 25 year old William John LeCroy, Jr, also of Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia. Over the coming years the couple would have twelve known children, 7 sons and 5 daughters.

In the 1910 census, William J and his family were living on their farm located on Unity School Road in Enumeration District 46, 812 Stranges District, Franklin County, Georgia. His were dwelling 155 and family 156 in the Census Enumeration. William LeCroy paid rent for the farmland which was #150 on the Farm Schedule. The LeCroy household consisted of 32 year old William J LeCroy, his 32 year old wife Zibiah C, 7 year old son Hiram D, 6 year old son William D, 3 year son old Hoyt J, 16 month old daughter Winnie P, and 3 month old Beulah Z. Zibiah was the mother of five children with five living at the time of the census. William John was listed as a farmer on a general farm, working on his own account. Both William and his wife were able to read and write; the two older children had attended school at some time since Sep 1909. His brother Thomas' widow Huldy E lived on a nearby farm with their children 13 year old Eunice M, 10 year old Claudie P, 9 year old Willie C, 6 year old Ruth E, and 4 year old Clarence P.

He was engaged in farming, working for himself at RFD #1, Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia. His nearest relative was his wife Zibiah LeCroy. He was described as being of Medium Height, Medium Build, with Dark Blue Eyes and Black Hair. No Physical Disability was noted. He registered at the Local Board in Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia. He did not have to participate in WWI.

The household consisted of 42 year old William J as Head, his 42 year old wife Zibiah C, 17 year old son Hiram D, 15 year old son William D, 12 year old son Hoyt J, 11 year old daughter Pauline W, 9 year old daughter Beulah Z, 8 year old daughter Minnie L, 5 year old daughter Lucy E, and 2 9/12 year old daughter Ossie H. All members of the family were born in Georgia, everyone except young Ossie H were able to read and write, and all of the children except Ossie had attended school at some time since Sep 1919. On April 14, 1947, Zibiah Cornelius Dalrymple LeCroy died in Franklin County, Georgia. She was buried in the New Bethel Cemetery in Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia.
