Clyde Freeman Aderholt is my grandfather, and is buried along side his Dad and mother, (William Douthard and Bertha McGinnis Aderholt). Clyde was known more as "Jack" Aderholt, some didn't know his real name. He was killed in an auto accident at the age of 33 yrs. He left behind a wife, Irene White Aderholt, and five young children: Mary Elizabeth, (my mother); Edward Lee, Doris Helen, Barbara Jean, and Richard T.

(I never knew why the children of William D. and Bertha Aderhold, spelled their surname ending in a "t" rather than a "d" like their parents.)

Jack served in the military in the early 30's, but was a barber by trade after leaving military service. He barbered in Anniston, but was also a barber at Ft. McClellan, Alabama.
