Connie A. Adams, age 71, of Rensselaer passed away Sunday at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana. Connie was born June 27, 1941 in Falmouth, Kentucky, the son of Ray William and Verna Ruth (Galloway) Adams. Connie had been a resident of Rensselaer since 2004. On July 22, 2006, Connie married Clara Tomlinson. He was retired from White Castle where he had been a truck driver. Connie attended the Brushwood United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Rensselaer Eagles Lodge, the V.F.W. Men's Auxiliary, the Rensselaer Moose Lodge and the Sons of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Clara Adams, daughter, Michelle (David) Geis and son, Troy (Tracy) Adams both of Kentucky, step-children, Tammy (Jeff) Snodgrass, Brook, IN, Eugene (Kim) Wright, Rensselaer, Harold (Belinda) Wright, Monticello and Tanya (Ryan) Westfall, Rensselaer, 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a sister, Sharon (Jerry) Gore of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer Wednesday, January 23, 2013, from 4-8 PM with Moose services to be held at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at the Jackson Funeral Chapel of Rensselaer Thursday, January 24, 2013, at 10:30 AM with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery
