Jerald Anderson was born in Leonard, ND on April 3, 1934 and was the son of Ralph Julian and Alice Amanda Anderson.
He served in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1976 as a machinery repairman chief petty officer after 22 years of active duty. He served during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts.
He had served as a foster parent to 24 children over a period of three years; had been a resident of Fort Towson since 1978 and had worked locally as a machinist. He was a member of the Fleet Association.
He was married to Josephine Ann Anderson and had four sons: Anthony, Larry, Marty and Danny. Four daughters: Kathy, Keri, Margie and Alicia.
