Eusebius Keister was buried Oct. 28,
1905 (Crown Hill Cemetery record). Marriage application for his daughter Alta L.
Keister and George E. Anacker was dated June 20, 1923, also the date of their
marriage in Terra Haute, Vigo County, Indiana (FamilySearch.org record). That
document shows the spelling "Eusebius Keister" for her father, which I believe
is correct. Among many variant spellings is "Esebins," as indexed (incorrectly)
on the Crown Hill Cemetery website. A gravestone photo, sent to me a few years
ago by a distant cousin, shows the spelling "Eusebius Keister."
