John Chestney Maney of Natalia, Texas, passed away August 1, 1984, in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Maney was 62 years of age. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence M. Maney.

Survivors include: His wife, Laura Mary Bohl Maney, of Natalia. Three daughters: Kathleen Janis Maney Ingram of San Antonio; Mary Frances Maney Lowrance and her husband Tim of Miles City, Montana; Barbara Gayle Maney Maxwell and her husband Bo of Devine. His mother Virginia Evelyn Holland Maney of Pearsall. His brother Dick Maney of San Antonio. Four grandchildren: Brian Lowrance, Carol Lowrance, John Maxwell, and Kristie Maxwell.

Rosary was recited Friday evening in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass was celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia. Interment followed in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Devine.
