Charles A. Funk, Sr., of East Grove Street, Bloomington, Illinois, died at Brokaw Hospital, after an illness of six weeks.
Mr. Funk spent the early years of his life farming near McLean and then moved to Chicago where for ten years was engaged in the coal business. In 1901, he was married to Miss Aimee Stokes in Chicago. Later, he returned to Bloomington and was associated with Funk Brothers Seed Company for eighteen years.
Survivors include two daughters and one son.
