Again has passed away another old settler of the lead regions. This time we are called to chronicle the death on last Monday at 4 o'clock pm of B.L. Hayth, for 43 years a resident of Shullsburg. We shall not attempt to write an obituary, as we have been promised one from the pen of an abler writer, and one who has known the deceased for many years.
The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon, and the remains were followed to the cemetery by a very large concourse of friends.
Among the members of the family present were: Mrs. Looney and Alexander Hyath, of Etna; Nicholas Hayth and wife, Darlington; and Mrs. Brockway, of this village. Deceased leaves a wife and seven children- two daughters and five sons.
